
Edward "Ted" Huntington Pease, who passed away on March 31, 2025, at the age of 78, leaves behind a legacy defined by his kindness, leadership, and deep devotion to his family, friends, and career. A dedicated husband to Pho Lian Tan and loving father to Jennifer Anne Cobat, Ted’s life was also enriched by his role as a grandfather and friend to many. Throughout his distinguished career in manufacturing and operations, Ted was known for his mentorship and ability to inspire those around him. His colleagues and friends admired his genuine care for others and his remarkable ability to make people feel valued and understood.
Ted’s early life in West Springfield, Massachusetts, shaped his lifelong pursuit of excellence, earning him Eagle Scout honors, a National Merit Scholarship, and a dual degree in Industrial Engineering. Over his career, he held leadership roles at various companies, including Becton Dickinson, Millipore Sigma, and West Pharmaceutical Services, ultimately retiring as General Manager at ManageAssist in 2023. His work ethic, mentorship, and leadership were admired by all who worked with him, and he was a constant source of support, encouragement, and inspiration.
Outside of his professional achievements, Ted was an avid adventurer with a passion for travel, golf, cycling, and wine. He visited every U.S. state and traveled to countries across the globe, always eager to immerse himself in new cultures and share these experiences with others. Ted’s infectious enthusiasm for life, his storytelling, and his refined palate for wines made him a beloved companion to all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ACPMP in his memory, honoring a life well lived and a spirit that will be deeply missed.

The Appendix Cancer PMP Research Foundation is a volunteer-led IRS-designated 501(c)3 charitable organization. The Foundation was created in 2008 by a community of individuals affected by Appendix Cancer and Pseudomyxoma Peritonei.

-Fund and support educational programs for health care professionals and patients/caregivers & families to keep pace with the evolving science
