In Memory of
Lara Ibrahim

April 24, 1967 — April 19, 2026
Lara Ibrahim was a single mother of a 4 year old boy when she was diagnosed with appendix cancer. Though this news came as a huge shock, she quickly found the strength and motivation to fight back. Lara endured multiple rounds of chemotherapy and underwent a difficult cytoreductive surgery and HIPEC. As the disease progressed and hospitalizations became more frequent, Lara’s goal was to make life as normal as possible for her young son. Even on her hardest days, she found the strength to walk him to school each day. Between grueling treatments, she planned joyful outings to the beach or playing in the park, adoring every minute with him.
After a courageous five-year battle, her family and now 9 year old son are left cherishing the many beautiful memories of Lara.
